It's a Dog-Eat-Dog World in Business. Can You Handle It?

"Business wars are often won by leaders who perceive laws and regulations, not like moral codes, but like rules to a game, that can be bent or broken to win."


The quote that stood out to me this morning. It's from "The Art of Business Wars" by David Brown - host of the Business Wars Podcast.


It almost sounds like an excuse for go-getters to do whatever they wish to achieve their aim.


We live in a competitive world where in theory, everybody plays under the same laws and regulations. Everyone has the same opportunity to bend and break them, and everyone carries the same punishment if they get caught. Wouldn't YOU take advantage?


If you live in a dog-eat-dog world and your tactics are based on survival, wouldn't you go the extra mile?
